Do you hate the time it takes to shop? Do long lines get you down? Tired of sluggish numbskulls blocking the aisles with their shopping cart?
Follow these Steve tested tips for satisfied shopping —
- Make a list
- Wait for a winter snow storm
- Go to the store, preferably after 8 PM
I am smugly smirking at my computer screen as I type this blog entry. You all should be as good as yours truly. Tonight, a week’s worth of grocery shopping done in nothing flat — left the house at 8:30, back home by 9:30. Nothing but me and a few winos warming themselves inside the store.
Go ahead. Scoff at me. I dare you to try to beat that. I should have a grocery store Strava segment.
I’d be willing to bet you could actually start a new KOM segment… LOL. That was priceless, man. Strava segment…
I knew you would appreciate that! 🙂
excellent work, steve.
Nice! When I was so sick this past December with bronchitis that held on for 3 weeks (ugh!), I discovered grocery shopping online through Walmart. I ordered what I needed, paid online, then drove to pick it up. Parked in a special space, checked in on the app and they loaded my vehicle. Heaven! Lazy, yes, but heaven nonetheless. Now it’s the only way I do it. I add things to my list all week, pick the time after work on Friday to pick it up, then my whole weekend can be filled with everything else we have to do. Do you have that option in your area? It’s free through the Walmart grocery app.
We do. Some day I will try it. I was wondering how it worked!
